Project Tron by Megadeblow

This project I have been lucky enough to see in the flesh. Rob 'Megadeblow' Deluce is a UK modder and someone I have known for a while. I had the pleasure to meet him at Insomnia 60 and his build was on show there. You can find his build log on our forums as well as on the Cooler Master ones.

As someone I have had on social media for a while, Megadeblow loves art, sci-fi, and comic book heroes, so it comes as no surprise to see some of these passions crossing over into his work.


It looks like Megadeblow has twins! Rob does some excellent builds for Cooler Master, so it comes as no surprise that he gets sent the cases he needs. This build only needs one, so it will be interesting to see what he does with the other one.


Megadeblow has been doing some awesome stuff with EL wire and EL panels. EL wire is an excellent material for modding, but you have to get the correct stuff, as I have personally used it before but had very poor results. Maybe we can meet Megadeblow like we did with Maki Role to see how he does things differently.


The EL wire has been put along the edge of all the panels, it doesn't look very impressive at the moment, but having seen this build in the flesh, I know the end result is great.


Other details are added to the front panel to fit in with the Tron theme and to make it stand out a little more.


Some really nice tight bends have been incorporated the build and Megadeblow has used EK water blocks and fittings for a clean minimalistic look.


Some added art on the back panel and some finishing touches really make a fantastic build.


These pictures don't do the build justice at all. At Insomnia 60 I had the pleasure to meet Megadeblow and also see this build, and I was very impressed indeed. It really does look special. Again, this is a fantastic entry to the Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2017. It is going to be hard to choose a winner. The Next build we are going to look at is Project eknaw saylenshu by pearl black.
